Biography
Dr Kai Schulz is an Associate Professor with the School of Environment, Science and Engineering. Professor Schulz scientific work is centered around potential impacts of ocean change and mitigation strategies on biogeochemical element cycling and pelagic foodweb ecology.
Professor Schulz is a member of SCU's Research Clusters:

Professor Schulz鈥檚 work contributes to the following 
Research
Professor Schulz鈥檚 research interests range from inorganic carbon acquisition and stable carbon isotope fractionation in marine phytoplankton, climate/ocean change impacts on pelagic ecosystems, climate/ocean change mitigation approaches and ecosystem restoration. For that purpose he combines experimental, local and global observational datasets with conceptual and numerical modelling. Professor Schulz has been awarded a number of research grants, including several from the Australian Research Council (ARC), and he has published widely on his research areas.
