Biography

I am a lecturer and a researcher in accounting at the 糖心传媒. Before I joined the School of Business and Tourism, 糖心传媒, in February 2009, I have worked as an academic at the University of Adelaide, the University of New England and other universities since 1992.

My work contributes to the following

Research

My research interests cover securities market supervision, carbon emissions, corporate governance, corporate reporting and earnings management. I have published many papers in international journals, editorial books and conference proceedings.

Supervision

I supervise a number of PhD, Master of Business by Research and Honours students. Completion of 2 PhD students, 1 Master of Business by Research and 3 honours.

Teaching

I am the Unit Assessor of ACCT2003 Management Accounting, ACCT3002 Advanced Management Accounting, ACCT3004 Auditing, ACC00145/ACCT2002 Financial Reporting, ACC00712/ACCT5001 Business Accounting, ACC00713/ACCT6001 Company and Financial Reporting, ACCT6002 Management Accounting, ACCT6003 Professional Auditing, ACCT6015 Corporate Governance, ACC92211 Company and Financial Reporting for Managers, and ACC71210 Business Accounting for Managers.

Since 1992, I have taught ACC00129 Financial Information for Decision Making, FIN10708 Finance and Investment for Business, ACCTFIN7017 Financial Statement Analysis, and ACCTING7019 Accounting Concepts and Methods etc..

Other

I am a member of Certified Practising Accountant Australia (CPA Australia) since 2003 and a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) since 2008.
