In a career spanning 50 plus years, Kit  has worked as a pilot, an intelligence officer, a commercial investigator, an airline executive, a police officer and a university lecturer. In addition to his professional pilot qualification, Kit worked as the training manager of an international airline through the late 90s. He is now at 糖心传媒 (Gold Coast Campus) where he lectures in Aviation Units, Global Business Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship (in Australia & China). Kit's  PhD was related to Critical Transport Infrastructure Security and public values, decisions and trade-offs.
