For selected courses, TAFE qualifications completed in New South Wales or Queensland are recognised through cross鈥慴order credit arrangements, providing one full year of credit into undergraduate study. We also accept applications from students who completed the same diploma at other RTOs.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. The named accelerated TAFE pathways include established credit arrangements. Where eligibility criteria are met, the relevant credit is automatically applied to your offer without the need for a separate credit request.
For the Enrolled Nurse to Registered Nurse pathway, your offer may be conditional on providing proof of registration which you an do at a later stage. Always review the course page for more information on course progression, requirements and other helpful information.
Many of our pathways provide credit equivalent to the first full year of study, allowing eligible students to commence from Year 2. We're always working to establish more options to make access and transition easy and reflective of the work you've put in with over 300 formal credit arrangements with TAFE and other RTOs.
If you completed one of the listed diplomas at another Registered Training Organisation (RTO), you may also be eligible for recognised credit. Please check the details or contact us to confirm your eligibility.
Beyond those listed as an accelerated pathway, other TAFE/VET qualifications may still be eligible for credit. You can apply and request a credit assessment as part of the application process. Yes. If you are under 18, you can still apply, but there are a few extra requirements to complete as part of your application. Our Admissions team will contact you directly with the information you need and guide you through the next steps.
Depending on your circumstances, this may include providing documentation such as parental or guardian consent, confirmation that you’re ready for study (for example, language, literacy and numeracy levels) or evidence of school withdrawal or exemption. Where relevant, including this information with your application is recommended to support your application.

If you are applying as an international student, you will need to apply via the . Depending on the course offered, you may be able to study offshore, online, or in Australia on a student visa or other temporary visas.

Note: You are considered a domestic student if you are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent visa holder (including permanent humanitarian visa holders). If you do not meet these criteria, you are considered an international student, regardless of whether you live in Australia or overseas.
In most cases, we look at study completed within the last 10 years for credit.
If your qualification is older than that, don’t worry, you can still apply! We may ask for extra information, like recent work experience or further study, to show your knowledge and skills are still up to date and relevant.
