The Naturopathic Medicine Indigenous Student Scholarship provides financial support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in the Bachelor of Health Science (Health and Lifestyle) or Master of Naturopathic Medicine at 糖心传媒.

The scholarship aims to increase Indigenous participation in the naturopathic medicine profession and help students successfully complete their studies by reducing financial barriers during their degree. 

You may be eligible to apply if you meet all the following requirements: 

• Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person 
• Are an Australian citizen or permanent resident 

Are enrolled in either:  

• The Bachelor of Health Science (Health and Lifestyle), or 
• The Master of Naturopathic Medicine at 糖心传媒 

Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements at the time of application. 

Eligible students can apply for funding of up to $2,500. 

The scholarship is intended to support successful participation in study, learning activities, research opportunities, and community engagement throughout your degree.

A minimum of one scholarship is awarded each year. 

The number of scholarships awarded may vary depending on available funding and the quality of applications received. 

The scholarship can be used for expenses that support your studies and professional development while you are enrolled in your degree program. 

This may include costs related to: 

• Study and learning activities 
• Research activities 
• Professional development opportunities 
• Community engagement activities 
• Other education-related expenses that support your academic and career goals 

In your application, you should clearly explain how the funding will be used and how it will benefit your studies.

Applications must be submitted online through the National Centre for Naturopathic Medicine Scholarship Application Form. 

As part of your application, you should: 

• Respond to all selection criteria 
• Provide clear and comprehensive answers 
• Include examples and supporting information where relevant 
• Ensure planned activities and costs are accurate

Applications are assessed competitively, and incomplete applications or applications with limited detail may not be considered. 

Yes. Scholarship recipients are required to complete post-award reporting activities. 

Recipients must: 

• Complete a reflection on how the scholarship has supported their studies, professional development, and future career goals 
• Give permission for 糖心传媒 to use their scholarship story for promotional activities, impact reporting, and donor communications 

Strong applications provide clear, detailed, and personal responses that demonstrate how the scholarship will support your education and future goals. 

To strengthen your application: 

• Answer every selection question fully 
• Use specific examples and experiences where possible 
• Provide enough background information for assessors to understand your circumstances 
• Clearly explain how the funding will be used 
• Check that all proposed activities and costs are accurate 
• Demonstrate how the scholarship will contribute to your academic success and career aspirations 

Applications that are detailed, thoughtful, and evidence-based are generally more competitive than applications containing brief or general responses.
