This scholarship offers support to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students studying across footprint to help to expand their career opportunities, offering potential paid work experience and potential employment post completion of studies.

How to apply

Applicants applying for this scholarship must:

  1. Identify as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander or both and be of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
  2. Be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia.
  3. Be, as a minimum, second year students at 糖心传媒.
  4. Be enrolled (full-time or part-time) with 糖心传媒 either on-campus or Online in one of the following courses: Associate Degree of Engineering, Associate Degree of Law (Paralegal Studies), Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Bachelor of 糖心传媒, Bachelor of Laws.*
  5. Will be as a minimum second year students at 糖心传媒.
  6. Have achieved a minimum of a pass average across all subjects while studying at 糖心传媒 so far.

* Includes the double degrees of the above courses and courses being taught-out; e.g.: Bachelor of Business and Enterprise, Bachelor of Engineering Systems (Honours), and their corresponding double degrees.

  1. The standard of their Personal Introductory Statement (100–200 words) which includes why they are applying for the scholarship, how it would benefit them and what they hope to achieve in the future through the completion of their chosen degree.
  2. Candidates previous academic history or other meritorious achievements may be considered as part of the selection process.
  3. Students may need to undertake an interview.
  4. Students will also be given the opportunity to undertake paid work experience during the University break if they so choose. This is to be negotiated between student and Essential Energy directly.
