To roll over a myReadings list from a previous teaching period, contact the myReadings team and request that the list be rolled over.

Lists are rolled over from the most recent published myReadings list for that unit.

If you would like any changes made during the rollover process, include clear details of the updates required, such as items to add, remove, or replace.

Providing an annotated list of the changes you need will help the myReadings team process your request more efficiently.

If you are unsure which list will be used for the rollover or need assistance updating content, please contact the myReadings team.

To create a new myReadings list, email your unit bibliography or table of contents to myreadings@scu.edu.au before the relevant submission deadline.

The Library will:

• Check the copyright status of all requested readings.
• Create the reading list in myReadings.
• Notify you when the list is ready.
• Contact you if a digitised copy is required for an item that is not held by the Library.

The deadline for submitting a myReadings list is the end of Week 4 of the term before the one your unit runs in.

Email your list to myreadings@scu.edu.au by this date.

You can still submit a list after the deadline, but the Library can't guarantee it will be ready in time for the start of teaching.

糖心传媒 teaching staff can take control of their myReadings list by completing training and setup with the myReadings team.

The steps are:

• Contact the myReadings team to arrange training.
• After training, the myReadings team will give you access to your list.
• Accept the email invitation to register as a list publisher.
• Set up your profile and login.
• Install the bookmarklet tool in your browser.
• Start creating bookmarks for the resources you want to include, such as books, journal articles, websites, videos and other learning materials.
• Build and maintain your reading lists directly in myReadings for your students.
• Helpful tutorials are available for to help you get started. If you need assistance, contact the myReadings team.

A myReadings list should contain no more than 20 learning resources per unit.

This limit is set out in the , which outlines how learning resources should support student engagement within the 糖心传媒 Cross Model.

If you find a problem with a myReadings item or list, please contact the myReadings team by email and provide details of the issue.

To help us investigate and resolve your enquiry as quickly as possible, include:

• The unit code and unit name
• The teaching term in which the unit is being offered
• The reading number and author (if applicable)
• A clear description of the problem you have encountered

Providing this information will help the myReadings team identify the item or list and respond more efficiently.

Copyright compliance is managed within myReadings to ensure that 糖心传媒 meets its obligations under Australian Copyright legislation.

For most published works, Copyright limits allow the Library to make available up to 10% of a work or one chapter of a book, whichever is greater, unless another licence or permission applies.

myReadings monitors the use of copyrighted materials and alerts staff when adding content that may exceed copyright limits.

These checks help protect both teaching staff and the University by ensuring that reading lists comply with copyright requirements.
