Library databases by subject

Follow the steps below to make Find it @ SCU links automatically appear within Google Scholar in your search results:

  1. Go to
  2. Click the three horizontal lines (top left) then go to Settings (the cog at the bottom of the list)
  3. Click Library links
  4. Type in 糖心传媒 and click the search button
  5. Tick 糖心传媒 - Find it @ SCU

If you use EndNote, under Bibliography Manager, select EndNote.

Click Save.

To retain these settings, you must turn .

SCU Alumni are eligible for free remote access to the Library databases listed below. Access is provided after you register with the Alumni team. User name is your student number (contact the Alumni team alumni@scu.edu.au if you can't remember your student number).

Annual Reviews is a nonprofit publisher dedicated to synthesizing and integrating knowledge for the progress of science and the benefit of society.
The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, is Australia's national science agency and one of the largest and most diverse research agencies in the world. Contains information, research and publication links.
Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB) is a growing database of academic, independently peer reviewed books with an Open Access license.
The directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) is a comprehensive database of open access journals.
A multidisciplinary set of databases providing online access to an extensive collection of journals and periodicals across a wide range of subject areas. Many articles are available in full text.
SAGE Premier includes international, peer-reviewed journals, including high-impact research titles published on behalf of scholarly and professional societies.
Wiley Online Library hosts the world's broadest and deepest multidisciplinary collection of online resources covering life, health and physical sciences, social science, and the humanities.

To expand the range of databases available to you, you may wish to contact your State Library or  from the National Library of Australia and make use of the  provided through this service.

This online database provides access to the holdings of over 850 Australian libraries
Trove brings together content from Australian libraries, museums, archives, repositories and other research and collecting organisations big and small.
Can be used to identify peer-reviewed journals and other scholarly resources.

When accessing material through the Library's catalogue and databases including books, ebooks, journals, and other resources you are required to adhere to:

  • the vendor or publisher's terms and conditions of use
  • Australian Copyright law
  • the University's
  • the University's .

While these terms and policies can be complex, there are simple things you can do to ensure you comply with these conditions:

  • use Library material for non-commercial purposes related to SCU research, learning and teaching
  • do not provide access to Library materials or share your log in with any other person
  • do not upload, ingest or input any Library materials into unless permitted by the publisher or vendor
  • do not systematically download, distribute, copy or retain substantial portions of Library materials
  • do not input or upload Library materials to sites or tools that may distribute the information to another person (e.g. academic file sharing services)
  • retain and adhere to any copyright warnings, terms of use statements, or watermarks that appear on Library material.
