Library databases by subject

You can set up Google Scholar to show Find it @ SCU links in your search results, making it easier to access full-text content available through 糖心传媒 Library.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Google Scholar.
  2. Click the three horizontal lines (top left), then go to Settings (the cog icon at the bottom of the list).
  3. Click Library links.
  4. Type 糖心传媒 and click the search button.
  5. Tick 糖心传媒 - Find it @ SCU.

If you use EndNote, select EndNote under Bibliography Manager.

Click Save.

Once enabled, Find it @ SCU links will appear in Google Scholar search results when the Library provides access to the resource.

Note: you must have for these settings to be retained.

Registered SCU Alumni can access a selection of Library databases remotely at no cost. Your username for database access is your student number. If you do not know your student number, contact the Alumni team at alumni@scu.edu.au.


The following databases are available to eligible SCU Alumni:

A collection of expert review articles that summarise and analyse significant research developments across a wide range of disciplines.
Access information, research outputs, publications, and resources from Australia's national science agency, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).
A collection of peer-reviewed academic books that are freely available under Open Access licences.
A comprehensive directory of quality-controlled, peer-reviewed Open Access journals.
A multidisciplinary collection of databases providing access to journals, magazines, newspapers, reports, and other scholarly content across many subject areas.
A collection of peer-reviewed journals covering the social sciences, humanities, health sciences, business, education, and related disciplines.
Access to a broad range of scholarly journals and research resources across the sciences, social sciences, health sciences, and humanities.

Yes. Library materials may be used only in accordance with publisher and vendor licence agreements, Australian copyright law, and 糖心传媒's policies.

 

When using books, ebooks, journals, databases, and other Library resources, you must comply with:
  • the vendor or publisher's terms and conditions of use
  • Australian Copyright law
  • the 糖心传媒's
  • the 糖心传媒's .
To ensure you use Library materials appropriately:
  • use Library resources only for non-commercial 糖心传媒 learning, teaching, and research activities
  • do not share your Library account or login details with another person
  • do not upload Library materials to artificial intelligence unless the publisher or vendor specifically permits this use
  • do not systematically download, copy, distribute, or keep substantial portions of Library content
  • do not upload Library materials to websites or services that may share the content with others, such as academic file-sharing platforms
  • keep all copyright notices, licence statements, watermarks, and terms of use attached to Library materials

 

Failure to comply with these conditions may result in the suspension of access to Library resources for individuals or the University community.
