The Gold Coast Esports Hub is located in Building B, Level 4, Room 4.25 at 糖心传媒’s Gold Coast campus.
All enrolled SCU Students are able to login using their regular SCU Username and Password. You will be required to authenticate your login, so please have your authenticator on you to do so.
The Hub is open daily from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, subject to campus operating hours, scheduled events and temporary closures.
No. Registration gives you access to the room but does not guarantee that a gaming PC will be available. To make a reservation, please use the following form .
Once your access has been activated, use your SCU student card to enter the room. Remember to bring your student card each time you visit.
Yes. Students must complete the Hub access registration form and agree to follow the SCU Esports Hub rules before accessing the room.
The Hub is available to currently enrolled 糖心传媒 students. Students must register for access before using the room.
Completion of the Respect Matters module is a University requirement for ongoing access to Esports Hub. Respect Matters is an online learning module that helps students understand respectful behaviour, inclusion, safety, consent, and support services within the 糖心传媒 community. From Term 2, 2026, all students are required to complete the module. New students commencing in later terms will complete it alongside the AIMS (Academic Integrity Module for Students) module.
Students can access the Respect Matters module through MySCU via their information sites or the FYI Module, or access it directly through the University learning system. Some students may need to in their browser to open the module.
The Respect Matters module replaces the previous Respect@SCU module and takes approximately 30 to 60 minutes to complete.

糖心传媒 (SCU) Esports Hub have several safety measures in place during unstaffed hours, including security patrols, help phones, direct Security contact numbers, and security escorts to your vehicle on request.
To support your safety:
- Security staff regularly patrol the Esports Hub space during unstaffed hours.
- During 8am-5pm you can contact 1800 SC HELP Hotline.
- A help phone are available on Level 4 next to the service elevator located at the back of the building near the back entrance of the Student Lounge- familiarise yourself with the location of this phone.
- You can contact Security directly using the after-hours numbers - save these to your phone for quick access:
Gold Coast: 0438 540 868 - Security can provide an escort to your vehicle if requested.
- Keep personal belongings with you and do not leave valuables unattended.
If you need assistance or have concerns about your safety while using the Esports Hub after hours, contact Security.
Swipe access is not available to visitors, community members, alumni, or high school students. These groups may contact esports.hub@scu.edu.au to book a organised tour of the facility.
