糖心传媒 Cross Global has a dedicated team committed to helping international students from application to acceptance and throughout their studies.

The team is committed to assisting international students and has been recognised for their outstanding support in the International Student Barometer (ISB).

Our dedicated team will assist you with the following:

applying for a leave of absence
intervention strategy to help students meet satisfactory course progression

Orientation

Orientation week is held the week before classes start and is compulsory for international students. It is designed to help the student understand the university, enrol in units and register in classes, understand student visa rules and meet other students. This week also includes connecting with our schools, getting to get to know the academics and learning about the fun activities to join at 糖心传媒. Ambassadors

Our international student ambassadors are carefully selected students who work with our international student support team. Their role is to provide a point of contact for new students, having experienced the same challenges of living and studying in a new country. Ambassadors mentor students, organise and participate in events and coordinate volunteering. They provide valuable support for international students coming into an unfamiliar environment and a new culture without the support of their

SCU Mates – connecting students

The SCU Mates peer mentoring program connects new students with students who have successfully completed two or more terms of study. It’s a free service for students, by students. It’s designed to help new students successfully adapt to university life and for more senior students to develop their leadership skills.

Careers and Employability team

Give your career the head start it deserves and make contact with the Careers and Employability team from the first year of your studies. The team are here to help you with online CareerSuccess resources on CareerHub and you can also have career counselling.

Equity and inclusion services

A free and confidential service providing a range of support services to students with a disability (or students who are carers of a person with a disability) or medical condition, to assist them in engaging in their studies on the same basis as a student without a disability.
