Applicants applying for the CGC Regional Scholarship must:

1. Be classed as residing in a regional or remote area or have relocated from a rural or remote location to study at 糖心传媒.
2. Demonstrate a form of disadvantage under the following: carer responsibilities, financial hardship, Indigenous Australians, long-term medical condition/disability or ongoing effects of abuse and/or sole-parent responsibilities.
3. Be enrolled (full-time or part-time) in a Science or Engineering degree with 糖心传媒. Civil Engineering will be preferred.

Applications will be evaluated on:

1. Their personal introductory statement (100–200 words) which includes why they are applying for the scholarship, how it would benefit them and what they hope to achieve in the future through the completion of their degree.
2. Their personal response to the scholarship application questions in general — in particular statements related to hardship.
3. Students that are interested in pursuing Geotechnical Engineering, Geology (or similar) as a branch of Civil Engineering post-graduation will be preferred.
