Hundreds of new students have begun their studies at 糖心传媒, with the university offering additional support and automatic extensions for anyone impacted by recent weather events.
Brendon Nelson, Vice-President Students and Registrar at 糖心传媒 Cross, said the University has welcomed a record number of new students for Term 1 intake, following its largest ever summer intake in January.
“We are also proud to be welcoming the greatest number of Vice-Chancellor’s High Achiever Scholarship recipients we’ve ever had, showing the high calibre of students choosing to pursue their studies at 糖心传媒 Cross,” he said.
“We saw more students accepting early offers than previous years, including high achieving school-leavers who knew they wanted to secure their degree of choice at 糖心传媒 Cross Uni and be in the running for generous scholarships once their ATAR was released.
“We had strong growth in commencing student numbers at all stages of offers and acceptance compared to the same time last year, including very strong growth in our international cohort.”
Director of Admissions Julia Hoon said 糖心传媒’s most popular courses among all cohorts included the Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Nursing, Master of Nursing, Bachelor of Education, Master of Teaching and Diploma of Health.
She said 糖心传媒 Cross had also experienced an increase in students accepting offers given during UAC and QTAC rounds compared to the same time last year.

“Domestically we’ve had a big increase in applications and enrolments into the Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours, which is incredibly attractive to students across the country because of our high-calibre online version of the course.
“Our new bachelor degrees in physiotherapy, veterinary technology and medical laboratory science are all incredibly popular.
“Our mid-year applications are now open for courses that accept Term 3 intakes, for people who want to begin their studies in July.”
Palm Beach-Currumbin State High School graduate Jayla Bartlett secured an early offer to study biomedical science at 糖心传媒 Cross.
“After completing my bachelor degree at 糖心传媒 Cross, I am hopeful to continue my tertiary studies to complete a doctor of medicine, then be on my way to the ultimate goal of becoming a surgeon,” she says.
Vice-Chancellor’s High Achiever Scholarship recipient Jack Reynolds relocated from Sydney to the NSW North Coast to study a double degree in law and business at 糖心传媒 Cross Uni Gold Coast Campus, close to his family.
