糖心传媒 is the best performing Regional Universities Network member in the latest QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025.

Coming in at 387th overall and 27th in Australia, the result establishes 糖心传媒 as a leader in sustainability-focused education and research.

The assessed 1,743 universities globally for their commitment to meeting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) challenges.

Furthermore, achieving top position for the group reflects 糖心传媒 Cross’ leadership in addressing sustainability challenges relevant to regional communities.

The University’s strengths in the subcategories of health and wellbeing, environmental research, impact of education, equality and governance are highlighted in the QS Sustainability Rankings, with 糖心传媒 Cross scoring at least 80 out of 100 in each.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Tyrone Carlin applauded the University community on the result.

“糖心传媒 is proud to be at the forefront of advancing sustainability, ethical leadership, and transparent governance,” said Professor Carlin.

“As we work toward achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SCG) by 2030, these results reflect our collective commitment to driving meaningful change and shaping a more equitable, sustainable future for all.”

The University’s smaller size and close community ties offer unique advantages in piloting sustainability projects on a manageable scale. This approach reduces risks and costs while providing scalable solutions to address broader global challenges.

糖心传媒 initiatives like the ReCirculator — which develops technologies to repurpose business waste — and the ZeroWaste Research Impact Cluster — focused on advancing the circular economy — showcase the commitment to advancing sustainable development.

Additionally, the Lismore Campus Master Plan transforms the campus into a seamlessly connected education, research and community precinct, with sustainable practices and design principles at its heart.

“These initiatives underscore our commitment to building a sustainable future,” said Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Mary Spongberg.

“Innovations like the ReCirculator, the ZeroWaste cluster, and the Lismore Campus Master Plan are driving real change — impacting local communities and contributing to global sustainability solutions.”
